Ines Vermeulen maps memory through quiet, deliberate pigment.
Working between her studios in Antwerp and Lisbon, Vermeulen builds slow, atmospheric oil paintings in which time itself seems to settle on the canvas. Her current body of work — twelve pieces completed over eighteen months — will travel to three institutions following our presentation.
